Abroad International School is an English Preschool & Kindergarten. We offer an advanced educational program, serving the educational needs of the international community in Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai and Okayama.

In our school there is the option of a 3, 4 or 5 day courses. Once the dates are chosen, there are no substitute lessons for absent days. It is possible to change the dates chosen during enrolment by submitting a one month notice application. AIS will consider the application and notify parents of the decision. If space is not available, the request may be rejected by the school. Whilst the schedule is similar each day, there are special events throughout the year that occur on one particular day (i.e. Halloween, Valentines Day, field trips). If the event falls on a day that a student is not scheduled to attend, we allow the student to change for that one day only. Since the curriculum is geared towards a 5 day school week, students who elect for 3-4 day courses are responsible for completing any work missed in order to maintain the level of their peers.

We offer early and after school care service to support parents who are working or busy.

Early Arrivals (8:30-9:30)

To accommodate the needs of parents we offer an Early Arrival service. We provide supervision so that students can get to school early and are ready to settle down for the start of the school day. Advance reservations for this service are required. (30 min counting)

After School Care Service (16:00-18:00)

The After School Care service provides reliable care after the normal school day. Advance reservations for this service are required. Parents may pick up their children at any time during the After School Care period however there will be no reduction or pre-calculating of the fee (30 min counting). Parents should pick up their children until 16:05. More than 10minutes lateness will be charged as 30 min.
